Positive Play is informed by the Positive Play Scale, an internationally recognised research framework that explores the beliefs and behaviours associated with responsible gambling.
Positive Play complements traditional safer gambling approaches by helping organisations better understand the factors that support positive play. Alongside identifying and supporting those experiencing gambling-related harm, Positive Play provides evidence that can help organisations strengthen customer interactions, encourage informed decision-making and support Positive Play across their wider player base.
The Positive Play Scale explores the beliefs and behaviours associated with responsible gambling. Understanding the relationship between these two areas helps organisations better understand what supports Positive Play.

Having worked with lotteries, gambling companies and regulators around the world, his research focuses on developing and evaluating practical strategies that support player protection.
